VESSELS AND COMPONENTS FOR FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Raff + Grund builds all kinds of different vessels and components for food technology. They extend from storage tanks to dosing equipment and pressure vessels for the filling of milk and yoghurt products through to components for the packaging of butter, meat or cheese. Optimum cleanability of the components and gentle handling of the products are frequently the most important criteria. We are familiar with food industry requirements.
Producing in conformity with GMP and FDA requirements is everyday practice at Raff + Grund. We individually plan the vessels and components to your specifications and match the required materials, surface qualities, agitators and temperature controls to these. This means proper processing of the materials, perfect weld quality, piping, including orbit welded in closed weld gun and surfaces with ground, bright polished or electropolished finish. We can also supply the vessels and plants complete with all attachments, such as agitators, safety equipment, temperature control, sampling and discharge valves, as well as the necessary controls.
All the required acceptances, such as pressure or leak test and TÜV acceptance, penetrant flaw detection, surface roughness measurement, weld documents (WPS) or videoendoscopy, are possible in-house at Raff + Grund with appropriate documentation.
