VESSELS AND COMPONENTS FOR PHARMACEUTICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGY
The highest requirements are set for pharmaceutical and biotechnology plants. Raff + Grund has extensive experience in this area. We build, e.g. stationary or mobile process or batching tanks, as well as using the "through the wall (TTW)" construction method, storage, WFI or CIP containers and fermenters. We also produce hoppers and welded constructions with product contact for packaging machines, as well as piping or distribution pipes.
The highest possible manufacturing quality including optimum cleaning options are normal standards at Raff + Grund. This means proper processing of the materials, e.g. 1.4435 BN2 with tested and recorded ferrite content in the weld, flawless weld quality with weld documentation (WPS), pipes, including orbit welded in closed welding gun, surfaces with ground, bright polished or electropolished finish with tested and recorded surface roughness up to Ra<=0.2μm maximum, riboflavin tests to VDMA or drain tests to ASME-BPE are common practice.
A spectral analysis to determine materials or video endoscopy is possible at Raff + Grund. We are familiar with pharmaceutical and biotechnology standards. Design and production conforming to FDA and GMP or ATEX requirements is the norm at Raff + Grund.
We individually plan the vessels and components to your specifications. We can also supply the vessels and plants complete with all attachments, such as agitators, safety equipment, temperature control, sampling and discharge valves, as well as the necessary controls.
An in-house FAT of the plant is possible at Raff + Grund. We can also assist you with validation / qualification, such as the IQ or OQ.
